Compassion
Strength That Refuses to Dehumanize
I will practice compassion—refusing to dehumanize, holding boundaries with dignity, and choosing repair over cruelty—so strength remains human.
Compassion is not weakness and it's not permissiveness. It's the disciplined choice to keep your humanity intact when you're hurt, angry, afraid, or disappointed.
Compassion sees the person even while confronting the behavior. It holds boundaries without humiliation. It corrects without contempt. It allows consequences without turning them into punishment-as-entertainment.
This value keeps power clean. It prevents justice from turning into revenge and truth from turning into brutality. Compassion is how we stay strong without becoming monsters.
